- Description: White paper is for forms and invoices. Books deserve something warmer — and easier on the eyes.

Every book we publish is printed on the same paper: an 80-gram cream stock from a mill that has made paper for a hundred and forty years. It costs a little more than white. Here is why we think it is worth it.

## It is easier to read

Bright white paper reflects more light, and the contrast with black ink tires the eyes over a long chapter. Cream paper softens that contrast without making the text grey.

## It ages well

White paper yellows unevenly. Cream paper starts where white paper ends up, so a book you keep for twenty years looks much as it did on the first day.

## It feels like a book

Hard to measure, easy to notice: open one of our books next to a printed report and you will see what we mean.
