Ten books for long winter evenings

Our team’s winter list: some of ours, most of them not, all of them best read under a blanket.

The days are shorter, the evenings longer. Here is what the team will be reading this winter.

  1. A long Russian novel you have always meant to finish.
  2. A book of poems you can open anywhere — The Paper Garden, for instance.
  3. A collection of short stories for the nights you are too tired for a novel: Small Rooms, Long Winters was written for exactly that.
  4. A travel book about a warm country.
  5. Something you read as a child.

And five more, to be discovered in our newsletter.
